Connecting Hotels, Bus Operators and Rail Companies Through GoRide’s Technology

A traveller’s journey rarely involves just one service. An
arrival at the airport might be followed by a transfer to a hotel, a bus to
another city or a train connection across the region.
At GoRide Transfers, we’re developing technology to bring
more of those connections into one travel experience. As our destination
network grows, we’re inviting hotels, bus operators and rail companies
to explore how they can work with our platform.
Connecting the journey
Travellers often search for transport with a specific
destination in mind: an airport, a hotel, a station or a city. GoRide builds
destination and route pages around these journeys, helping travellers explore
relevant information and available transfer options.
Behind that experience, technology helps connect different
sources of transportation supply. GoRide already has a live integration with an
external ground transportation provider, giving the platform access to vehicles
for bookings in supported markets.
We’re now looking to explore further opportunities with
businesses across the travel ecosystem.
How hotels can work with GoRide
For a hotel, the journey starts before a guest reaches
reception. Many guests search for their property and how to get there while
planning their trip.
GoRide can discuss including a hotel as a destination and
developing dedicated airport-to-hotel route content. This gives travellers a
place to explore the journey to the property.
A hotel does not necessarily need an API to start a
conversation. Our team can review the property’s details, location and the
airports its guests commonly use. For hotel groups with technical requirements,
we’re also open to discussing potential integrations.
How bus operators can connect
Bus and coach operators provide important connections
between airports, cities, hotels and surrounding regions.
We invite operators to share information about their routes
and explore how their services could be represented on GoRide. For businesses
with an existing API or digital booking system, we can discuss whether a
technical integration is suitable.
Depending on the opportunity, that conversation could cover
route information, schedules, availability and booking workflows. The exact
capabilities would need to be agreed and developed for each integration.
How rail companies can connect
Rail services are another important part of the traveller’s
journey, from airport connections to regional trains.
GoRide welcomes discussions with rail companies and
transport authorities interested in helping travellers discover their services.
Where an API is available, our teams can explore the technical and commercial
requirements for a potential connection.
Our aim is to make it easier for travellers to understand
how different parts of a journey fit together—not to assume that every service
works in the same way.
Starting a technical conversation
Every partner is different. A hotel may want its property
included as a destination, while a transport operator may want to discuss
exchanging route or booking information.
To start, tell us:
- What
your business offers and where you operate.
- Which
hotels, routes or services you would like to discuss.
- Whether
you have an API or another digital system.
- Who
our team should contact about the opportunity.
Our team can then discuss the appropriate next steps. Submitting
an enquiry does not automatically mean an integration is available or that a
service can be booked through GoRide.
Let’s build better-connected journeys
GoRide’s vision is to make destinations easier to reach by
bringing travel information and transportation services closer together.
If you represent a hotel, bus company, rail operator or
another travel business, we’d love to learn more about your network.
